Guide for Authors

Because the Journal is Double-Blinded, the author/authors should submit two separate files:

1- Title page file: Include the article title, the running title, author(s) name, and professional title and institution affiliations. Include the corresponding author's name and exact postal address, current e-mail, telephone.

2- Manuscript file: Manuscript file should not include the author/authors name and affiliations or any data about them. Also, it should be printed on A4 paper, 1.5 line space with margins of at least 1 inch. Pages should be numbered consecutively. Manuscript should include:

Cover Letter

The cover letter serves to introduce a submission to the editorial staff. The letter should explain any potential conflicts concerning the exclusive nature of the paper.

Title

Include the article title, the running title.

Abstract

Not exceed 250 words, do not include abbreviations, footnotes or references. The abstract will have four sections (Background, Aim of the study, Materials and Methods and Results) Conclusion/ recommendations will explain the significance of the work.

Key Words

Key words should include at the end of the abstract page, not more than five keywords in alphabetical order, separated by a comma.

Introduction

Include relevant literature related to the problem of study, and state the reasons and purposes behind the study. Abbreviations should be spelled out the first time they are used.

Material and Methods

Include the setting where the study was done, subjects of the study and criteria for selection, tools for data collection and study design and procedure.

Results

Use tables and figures where appropriate to improve the clarity of presentation.

Type the tables double-spaced on separate sheets. Place the table number and title above the table and any explanatory notes below the table. 

Submit the figures in their actual size. The figure number and an arrow are pointing to the top, on the back of each figure.

Discussion

Discuss the results in relation to other relevant studies in the same field. 

Conclusion and Recommendations

A conclusion may review the main points of the paper.

References

A reference list must be included using ABA., Style

Revision and Publication charge fees 

The author was invited to: 

1- After the submission of the manuscript, a similarity chick for the manuscript will be done through the Journal website. The similarity chick fee is as follows: (100 E L for manuscript from Egyptian Port Said University members- 120 E L for manuscript from Egyptian non-Port Said University members). (25$ for manuscript from non-Egyptian student authors- 60$ for manuscript from non-Egyptian non-student authors).

* Similarity not exceed 25% for all the manuscripts and 5% for each source.

2- The revision process charge fee is 500 E L for Egyptian authors - 50$ for manuscript from foreign authors, must be paid to accompany with the submission of the manuscript.

If the revision process need a third reviewer, excess charge fee is required, 250 E L for Egyptian authors - 25$ for manuscript from foreign authors.

3- After the acceptance of the publication of the manuscript is ready, the authors must pay the following fees to obtain the acceptance letter for publication and to complete the publication process: 

800 E L/10 pages paper, for paper from Egyptian Port Said University members and 15 E L for any excess page.

1000 E L/10 pages paper, from Egyptian non-Port Said University members and 20 E L for any excess page.

1200 E L/10 pages paper, from seconded Egyptian Port Said University members, and 20 E L for any excess page. 

250$/10 pages paper, for paper from non-Egyptian authors and 7$ for any excess page.
